Network Health Assessment Framework

Developed a conceptual framework of network health, giving network coordinators, participants, and funders the basis for understanding the vitality of a network. Developed an accompanying suite of measurement tools for network coordinators to assess and monitor network health over time. Grounded in network theory, the framework and tools are topic agnostic, enabling network coordinators to adapt and customize them to align with their network context.

Small Foundation

Developed the measurement framework used by the Small Foundation and its network grantees to assess network development and health over time. Created a measurement plan, customizable assessment tools, and technical assistance materials for Foundation grantees to employ with their networks.

Irvine Foundation New Leadership Network

Conducted a qualitative study of network impacts. Individually interviewed all network members about their experiences with the NLN, including how network participation impacted them professionally and personally, their organization, and the broader system in California's Central Valley.

Washington State Early Learning Coordination Plan (ELCP)

Provided training and technical assistance to staff in the Washington State Department of Children, Youth, and Families regarding methods to gather and analyze data on the statewide Early Learning Coordination Plan (ELCP) network. Provided instruction, customizable assessment tools, analytic guidance, and resource materials for the DCYF coordination team to use to assess and support the development of the ELCP network.
